Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd, skaparen av vår symbol, "non-violence" - eller the Knotted Gun som den kallas i folkmun, har avlidit 81 år gammal. Reuterswärd var en av Sveriges mest respekterade konstnärer och gjorde revolvern efter att hans vän John Lennon blev skjuten 1980. Skulpturen finns idag uppställd på över 30 platser runt om i världen - bland annat i New York utanför FN-skrapan, men också här hemma i Stockholm på Segelgatan - där den sprider värderingar om icke-våld.
Vi känner stor saknad och fortsätter vårt arbete med Carl Fredriks vision genom hans vackra konstverk som en symbol för fred och icke-våld. Samt vi kommer alltid att minnas hans fantastiska personlighet och allt stöd han givit vår organisation The Non-Violence Project.
